Madrasah Entry Preparatory Programme

OBJECTIVES:

• To achieve the readiness of students for admission to Madrasah education
• To assess the student's knowledge and skills in the Arabic language, Islamic studies, and general subjects such as mathematics, English language, and Malay Languages
• To identify the strengths and weaknesses of the students and determine the student's ability to comprehend and apply basic concepts and principles and provide guidance for improvement
• To ensure that the students possess the necessary foundation for successful learning in Madrasah education
• To establish a benchmark for measuring the effectiveness of the Madrasah Entry Preparatory Programme in preparing students for Madrasah education.

What Your Child Will Learn in This Course

English Language

• Learn the Alphabet letters and phonics.  
•  Recognize blending sounds to form the word
• Learn to spell without memorizing

• Understanding basic grammar skills

Mathematics

• Counting numbers to 100
• Perform simple addition and subtraction up to 20
• Understand the number of bond concepts
• Understand ordinal numbers
• Recognizing shapes
• Understand number patterns
• Comprehend word problems

Malay Language

• Recognize letter sounds blending to form the words / Phonetics
• Learning to spell without memorizing
• Understanding basic grammar skills
• Building vocabulary through different skills
• Close Comprehension
• Building confidence to communicate in Malay

Arabic Language

• Recognizing the 28 Arabic letters in their different forms
• practice the writing of the Arabic alphabet 
• Arranging the Arabic letters in order of the alphabet
• Joining and Separation of Letters
• Recognizing the Arabic numbers 0 to 10
• Reading Arabic words
• Building vocabulary through different themes
• Colors, Animals, Classroom, Family Members, Body Parts, Vehicles, Shapes, Fruits, etc

Iqra Recitations (Tilawati / Qiraati)

• Reciting the 28 Arabic letters in their different sounds (Makharj Al-Huroof)
• Fathah, Kasra, Dhomma, Sukoon, Shaddah, Fathatain, Kasratain, Dhommatain
• Ability to read up to book 3 of Iqra or Al-Tasiar Books.
• Dua/Surah Memorisation
• Before / After Meals 
• Entering / Leaving: the Mosque, The House & Restroom
• Before Sleep / Waking up from Sleep, Before Studying
• Looking into the Mirror, Boarding Vehicles, and others
• Last 15 Surah of the Quran

Duration:  Until the MET test on 2024

Frequency: Every Saturday

Timing: 2.00 - 5.00 pm (3 Hours) Short Break will be Given

Age: from 4+ to 6+ years 

Class size: Maximum of 8 Students
